I moved to Providence in 1971 to attend RISD with a major in Jewelry and Metalsmithing and never left! For 20 years I managed the legendary Leo’s restaurant in the Jewelry/Knowledge District with my husband, John Rector. Always involved in the Arts, I started Gallery Flux in 1987 and specialized in showcasing local artist’s work. My formula was to move from empty commercial to another empty space every 3 months or so.  I was a Pop-Up Gallery before it had a name.
